Absence Makes The Heart Fonder

Did i mentioned that my boy is back in singapore?!?!? Hehe! Like finally!

Actually he touched down on saturday midnight, which is equivalent to sunday morning. He stopped himself from going online and facebook because he’s afraid i would catch him online. He even asked clement to give me a call to chech where am i. so as i was doing housework, i heard someone knocking on my door (yes my doorbell isnt functioning). so i walked out and i saw my baby standing right in front of me! I was on clouds nine! I swear that the surprises beats any gifts that he bought for me! I chiong to the door wanting to hug him but i forgot there’s a door. -__-

he bought lots of chocolates for me and my family. There’s also this kangaroo soft toy that he bought for me. Guess what he named the kangaroo? Hahahaha!

anyway, sunday i was damn not feeling well. Was having headache becos of the hot weather after coming back from shopping with my sis, ever changing weather. and the fact that i got too excited seeing my baby. I think my blood pressure rised with the excitement in me. Makes my headache worst! Cooked for him and we chat alot. things that we’ve done in the past three weeks. his adventures and my adventures! He was there for me the whole night when i’m not feeling well.

Went to the doctor and gotten 2 days mc! Life as we know it is sucha nice movie! Ok i don have anymore strength to type. The aftermath of the medicine makes me feel so sleepy. tata everyone! (((:

Two more days before my baby boy is back in singapore! Don’t know why i’ve been missing him a lot more than usual these few days. Have been surviving quite well over the past few weeksbut i think this missing-him syndrome is getting more and more serious. got so so many things wann tell him.

Few weeks back my colleague was sick and she kept to herself and seldom talk to me. There was once she even reprimand me when i was blur in my work. Ohmy god i felt so terrible at that pointof time. He’s not around and i can’t pour my sorrows to him. I nearly broke down at that point of time. But gladly, xiaowei and shirley was there. haha, at least there’s somebody i can turn to. Oh yah xiaowei will be starting work at changi business park next monday!!! Can have lunch tgt with her and go home tgt with her! Hehe!

Two more days two more days! I need Dr. Koh to cure me from my love sick! 😛

Updates!

Two weeks and i survived through. Had a gathering with my friends at pulau ubin a couple of weeks ago. It was hell lots of fun! Cycled with the guys through the trails, pushing ups and downs with my bicycle along the bumpy road and tanning under the sun! It was an experience cycling in the night where everything was pitch dark! Can’t even see our fingers when we turn off the torch!

Drank through the nights, emotions filled within the tiny yet cozy room we have and reminiscing the old times… owww i missed the times spent!

Last weekend supposedly to go cycling with xiaowei and shirley, but in theend went for movies instead. Eat pray love. Was kinda nice movie, just that some parts are wAy too boring! 140 minutes show, we nearly want to forsake the movie, but perservere to the end (:

And and and i got into singapore institute of technology! I did real bad at the interview and was lucky to have got in. The same goes to mingfeng! So happy for the two of us! (((: will have tender resignation soon, no more money/payday le $_$

P.S I Love You…

My last dinner with dearie and his family before he fly for australia. Three freaking weeks! Omfg! ): ): ): after dinner went giant for some shopping and necessities for his trip. by the time we reach home it was already very late and he’s not done with his packing! Did his packing together with him and we played monopoly together! Hehe! Another kind of monopoly, not the usual one that we play. Its those cards kind.

Snooze our alarm for six times before we decided to wake up. Dread the feeling becos i don’t want him to leave me. Don’t want him to abandon me for so long. Don’t want us to be apart for three weeks becos i know i’ll miss him hell lot when he’s away. Three weeks will pass very fast right? Last time when he just enlist he’s also inthere for two weeks. It’ll pass very fast, will pass very fast…

Moon Festival

in less than a week’s time, dearie’s gonna fly over to aussie for a month! bought goodwood park hotel snowskin mooncake for dearie’s family! just came back from his house and i tried the apple and the durian one. hehehe. the apple one was kinda new as there are apple bits inside. crunchy crunchy! took bus together with him to khatib and i took bus back home again, just to be with him for a while more 😀 this year no more free mooncakes like last 2 years. haha.

i love sushi i love sushi! last wednesday had sushi for lunch and dinner! went t2 sakae sushi with colleagues cos one guy is transferring to tokyo so kinda like a farewell for him. knew that i’m going to have sushi with xiaowei and shirley later for dinner, i avoided sushi in case i got disgusted during dinner. haha. then dinner at ichiban sushi! 5 plates of sushi, 1 handroll and 1 set of tempura 😀 by the time i finished all those i was full already. but how can a meal be complete without dessert? i love matcha and rice ball and red bean! they goes well together so much that i won’t get sick eating them EVERYDAY!

dearie has been talking sense into me. sometimes he would get a bit agitated. but sometimes i think he’s right. as the chinese saying, 旁观者清. i tried not to ponder over it as much as i do last time. what most important is i’m happy 😀 quoted from his comment, i’m happy with i have now 🙂 easily contented 🙂

i had 4 birthday celebration this month. dearie, mummy, my sister and my dad. ate so many cakes! and everyday had afternoon tea and dessert. can anyone pls help me? i’m stucked with my ds. the theme is so ugly but i have no freaking idea how to change it. pls help pls help. and citibank has this citi family day where citibankers go for a charity walk, followed by the universal studios!!! if i bring along an adult, the adult would have to pay only $60 entrance fee to USS. whereas the citibanker can go in for FREE! hope there’s still vacancies so i can go with ♥!

so far so good. been surviving for the past few weeks at citi. getting used to the environment, the work and everything. yesterday citi has organized this during-lunch-hour workshop by l’oreal paris. it taught us the correct method of putting on makeup and we even had hands on! for only $5 you get to know the correct techniques of makeup, how to curl your lashes so that it wont droop at the end of the day and best of all – goodie bags! and its super wu hua. they gave us this duo lipstick thing which has a lip stick plus a lip balm, a gel liner similar to the maybelline one. (i bought the mabelline creamy gel liner only to find out that its PURPLE in colour. omggg lah. was so sad cos i opened and tried it so can’t refund. and its freaking $15.90 so bo bian ngeh si have to use it.) was so happy cos i no need to get another black gel liner! save $_$! then they have this $3 sasa voucher. my colleague was so sweet to pay the $5 for me and she gave me her sasa voucher cos she said she doesn’t need it. ^^v

today boss never come. hehe. went century square to look at the mooncakes booth and @#%$@! goodwood park never gave out any samplings. so sad lah i wanted to try their mooncakes one leh. after testing mooncakes from century square we hopped to tampines mall and saw a huge bunch of people waiting to get free samplings at one of the stores, home favourites. omg their durian snowskin mooncake damn nice with the charcoal skin. we continued to walk and shop before heading back to office. another colleague treated us to spinelli for tea. mmmmm! 😀

got my first pay from citi too! so hiappy cos got $_$! hahaha. one day when i was working shirley emailed me and told me SIT have intake for jan 2011. and i applied for it too! hopefully i’ll get accepted. but i’ll have to tender my resignation by december if i get accepted. and i’ll have to leave citi… HAHA!

anyway last saturday celebrated dearie’s birthday at quality hotel with his family! we had vegetarian buffet and becuase of our HUGE size, they got us a room! ((((:

chocolate banana cake from awfully chocolate! shirley have been telling me cakes from awfully choco is very nice so i decided to get one for his birthday! i love their fresh bananas layered between the moist cake! and the chocolate ganache is made from dark chocolate! me like me like!

tomorrow is the last day of work, FOR THIS WEEK ONLY! hahahaha. time passed very fast in office, which is  a GOOD thing! with my colleague joking with me everyday, how can time be slow? hahaha.

dearie flying to wallaby this month for one freaking month! and i wiki to find out about wallaby. AND WALLABY IS NOT A LOCATION NAME LOR! it’s a kind of kangaroo. all along i thought wallaby is a small island or what located in australia. but apparantly it’s not.  “Wallabies are found in Australia, and there are different kinds of wallaby found all over the country, in all the different habitats. …”     -___-|||

YOG Handball!

international convention centre last saturday for dearie’s brother’s match. singapore against brazil. almost his whole family go together to support his brother in the youth olympic games! it was a fun-filled event. watching the match live is definitely different from the box that you see at your living room. even though singapore was thrashed by brazil, it was the sportmanship and experience that counts! and his brother was even the star player on that day with most of the goals scored. took many photos but halfway my camera died ): will update the photos here when i have the time. today’s was the match against cooks island and once again, his brother emerged as the top player with 8 out of 32 goals.

my third week of work! so far so good. my colleagues have been veryy good to me. the one who’s in charge of guiding me was super good! machiam like da jie, taking care of me. she even bought a whole bag of biscuits and sweets and what not and put it in my drawer! still very scared on my first day of work, wondering what will the people there be like. but thank god thank earth, i’m blessed with good people around me! (:

Food Glorious Food

it was a wonderful date with dearie yesterday. finally not the usual go plaza sing watch movie night (: as usual, both of us finished our housework before we meet. finally we have a account of our own! only ours! $_$

headed down town for our main purpose of the day – SWENSEN’S ICECREAM BUFFET! i have been longing to try out this buffet! fondues, icecreams and waffles and cakes! we had a hard time looking for the restaurant cos it’s not like directly within the premises of ion. it’s more towards the mrt station there. both of us had our lunch at home and we are thinking of having many many icecreams for our dinner! hahaha. luckily we were there early because by the time when we billed, the queue are freaking long.

as a typical singaporean, go buffet must eat gao boon, so more fondue for us!!! other than strawberries and marshmallows, they have this puff filled with chocolate cream! they also have a white chocolate fondue! me like! chef nick wanted to show off his culinary skills in placing food in a more presentable way. so, enjoy! dearie’s brother is in the handball team in the youth olympic games. bought tickets so we could go to support his brother at the games! but not sure whether dearie could make it anot. fuck ns, quoted from him. hahaha! and both of us got this ez-link card which i think is very chio! free bus and train rides. but it expires yesterday. lolol.

a sweet and nice weekend! i only want to remember nice things and let those bad memories fade away with time. memories will only stay as memories, i hope 😀

wanted to watch despicable me since it came out. few weeks back when i was queueing for movie tickets, i should’ve bought despicable me instead of eclipse. tmd waste my money i am so angry! stupid storyline and they keep talking and talking. fighting scenes only lasted like ten minutes? urgh! been telling dearie that i wanted to watch this show desperately, but it’s still almost full in the cinemas ):

there’s so many things i wanna do with him lah. and i bet he doesn’t know.

i wanna go on a short trip with him because i think that’s oh so sweeeet!

i wanna go to the zoo with him so we can see all the animals and smell their shit together!

i wanna watch song of the sea together with him because i used to think that watching this together with my boyf would be the sweetest thing on earth!

i wanna go on the skyride with him because  i think it’s super romantic seeing the night views of sentosa!

aiya, the list still goes on and on and on lah. and because he’s still serving the nation, i can’t possibly drag him out and do these energy-straining-activities when he already feels so tired inside. i can’t do anything but to wait. wait for him to book out, wait for him to have long leave, wait for him to have block leave, wait for him while he go to australia and india for like a frigging month, and finally wait for him to ORD! i wonder do i still need to wait after he ord o.o

anyway yesterday went down to my agent to sign the contract. oh like finally! finally can start work lo! finally got money lo $_$! signed a lot of agreement with them cos i’m working in a bank. secrecy agreement and what not. travelled down to raffles place to wait for shirley to knock off before meeting xiaowei at compass point for dinner! it’s been like two weeks since our last dinner. we had the 5 course meal and i was super full. they were laughing at me when i told them my face turn pale when i had a bit too much for dinner last weekend.

love them to bits and pieces! xoxo. they never fail to make me laugh, or is it my tolerance for laughter too low? 😀
